Sushi View

Ever wonder what it feels like to be a piece of sushi at a kaitenzushi (conveyor belt sushi) place? Watch this video shot from a camera somebody put on the conveyor belt of a sushi place in Tokyo. It was around midnight, and there were some interesting people in there. Be sure to watch long enough to see the back kitchen.

There should be a word for the feeling you get when you see someone else's work based on a simple but cool idea that you wish you'd thought of yourself.

Wouldn't this be a great shot to open a gangster movie with? I guess real movie-worthy yakuza wouldn't go to a conveyor belt place (?), but maybe a mafia film set in New York...

Maybe a Japanese Sopranos? What is Japan's equivalent to New Jersey?

Saitama. (I used to live there and I can vouch for it.)
